What is Bikram Yoga?
This harmonically structured series of 26 hatha yoga postures is an integrated form of exercise for the body and mind. Bikram yoga is taught in a heated room. The heat enables a thorough yet gentle workout for the muscles and tendons, effectively detoxifying and purifying the body.
Bikram yoga is practiced in a group, but during the 90-minute class, each practitioner works individually on their own strength and flexibility. Anyone can practice the Bikram series, regardless of age or fitness level! No prior knowledge is required.
